STATEMENT OF FAITH
SECTION 1. INTRODUCTION
The Voice Church is a Non-Denominational Christian Church. Our Statement of Faith is fundamental to basic tenets and contains those doctrines to which we unreservedly adhere to and teach. It is the belief of The Voice Church that; all believers will live in eternity as one body, called the church, with Jesus Christ as its Sovereign Head. Christian history reveals to us that many denominations that exist today were a result of differences in method of worship and doctrine. As a result, several denominations were established to worship God according to their own unique way of worship.
SECTION 2. GOD, JESUS, and the HOLY SPIRIT
2A. GOD
God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. God has eternally existed in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and are one God. They reveal themselves in the following ways: Father - Reigns (Psalm 90:2), Jesus - Redeems (Eph. I : 7) and the Holy Spirit - Reveals (I Cor. 2: I 0). We believe in God as the Father of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and the Father of all who receive salvation provided through the sacrifice of Jesus.
"And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. " Genesis I :26
"Lord, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations. 2 Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God. "Psalm 90:1-2
"And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased." Luke 3:22
2B. JESUS
We believe the Word of God became flesh (incarnate) in the person of Jesus Christ. Jesus was also referred to as Emmanuel God with us. Jesus lived a sinless human life. By his death on the cross, he was the perfect sacrifice for the sin of humanity. Jesus resurrected from the dead, after three days, just like He said He would, to demonstrate his power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven's glory and will return again to earth as King of kings and Lord of lords.
"And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. " John 1:14
"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; 6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time. "
1 Timothy 2:5-6
"Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: 8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. 9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11 And that every tongue should
confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." Philippians 2:5-11
2C. HOLY SPIRIT
We believe in the divine person of the Holy Spirit; in the work of convicting the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. We also believe the Holy Spirit indwells every believer to: gain victory over sin, receive power for service, and make known to them the things of God. The Holy Spirit provides gifts to every believer for victory in spiritual warfare and edification of the church. These gifts can be categorized as gifts: to speak, to know, and gifts to do.
"But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth." Acts 1:8
"And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: 9 of sin, because they believe not on me; 10 0f righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; 11 of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged " John 16:8-11
"For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God "
1 Corinthians 2:11
SECTION 3. HUMANITY
3A. HUMANITY
Human beings were made in the spiritual image of God, to be like him in character. Humans are the supreme objects of God's creation. Although people have tremendous potential for good; we are marred by an attitude of disobedience, and His guidance is called sin. Through the process of their development, humans became vain in their imaginations and began to worship pagan gods. This blatant attitude of sin caused God to give them over to a reprobate mind and their foolish hearts were darkened. But God's love for the world did not allow mankind to stay in that sinful condition. "Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me. "Psalm 51:5
"Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and four-footed beasts, and creeping things.
Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonor their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshiped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. For this cause, God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise, also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness, full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them." Romans 1:21-32
3B. SALVATION
Salvation is a gift of God to humanity. Humans can never make up their sin by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God's offer of forgiveness can people be saved from sin's penalty. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into their life by faith. We believe that all who receive Jesus by faith as Savior and Lord are justified in the sight of God.
Romans 3:23; 6:23; 5:8; 10:9; 10.:13, 5:1,·5:8; 8:1; 8:38-39

SECTION 4. ETERNITY
Human beings were created to exist forever. Humans will either exist eternally separated from God by sin or in union with God through forgiveness and salvation. The believer is secure in that salvation for eternity. Salvation is maintained by the grace and power of God, not by the self-effort of the Christian. To be eternally separated from God is Hell to be eternally in union with God is eternal life. Remember it is not God's will that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance
"My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's
hand." John 10:29"Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them." Hebrews 7:25
"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time." 1 Peter 1:3-5
SECTION 5. THE BIBLE
We believe that the bible as originally given is the inerrant Word of God. We believe that the scriptures were written under the divine inspiration of God and they are the final authority in all matters of doctrine and practice. The bible is to be studied, so the believer will know how to rightfully divide the word of truth, and be ready always to give an answer to every person that asks a reason of the hope that is in the believer. Finally, we also encourage the members of The Voice Church to receive the Word with eagerness and search the scriptures daily.
"This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. " Joshua 1:8
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. 2 Timothy 3:16-17
