YOUTH MINISTRY DIRECTOR

Contact
(vacant)  the Leader/Director of Youth Ministries responsible for guiding young people in their faith journey. The Youth Ministry focuses on building a strong foundation for active youth participants endeavoring to make an impact on our youth and our community that will attract a diverse population of young people to the church. As the Director of Youth Ministries, fostering Christian community and building relationships with young people promotes Christ acceptance and Christian service through age appropriate programs for youth. Overseeing three classes for children and youth, the staff has created a welcoming environment, planning, organizing, and implementing a variety of interest-holding activities both at church and away from the church for young believers. Working cohesively with the staff members, the Director of Youth Ministries facilitates monthly meetings with the team to maintain fluid communication channels that ensure everyone is informed and engaged.  The Director consults and keeps the Senior Pastor informed of all youth fellowship programs, activities, and approved schedule of events.

KENENYA GATHERS

USHER/HOSPITALITY DIRECTOR

Kenenya Gathers is the Director and Team Leader of our Ushers and Greeters.  She and her team seamlessly and lovingly welcome visitors and members from the outside world into a worship experience they will never forget.  Through her humble and gentle spirit she leads the Adult Ushers with grace and confidence.  She also trains and guides the Youth Usher Team through the many nuances of being the face, heart, and spirit of The Voice Church with a smile and a pleasant demeanor through her diligence and great dedication.  She ensures that the Spirit of Christ is resident through each opportunity to serve those who enter the doors of the church.

Paula Ferguson

missions and OUTREACH MINISTRies DIRECTOR

Paula Ferguson is the Director of Missions and  Outreach Ministries. These ministries work with the Pastor to devise a strategic plan for increasing the congregation’s personal evangelism and improve the church’s corporate evangelism. Recognizing that evangelism is a Gospel mission, Sister Ferguson adopts new methods to promote the unchanging message. Understanding that cultures change, the Director of Missions and Outreach  is not bound by past methods and thus promotes new evangelistic strategies.  
Mission: The purpose and mission of the Missions and Outreach Ministries is to reach those who are outside the walls of our Church with the message and the love of Jesus Christ. We serve the mission field in our community with our prayers and through the work and implementation of community needs programs: Prison Ministry, Food, and Clothing. We care for the most vulnerable in our community and aim to reach the lost, the rejected, the broken, and downtrodden and seek to introduce them to Jesus Christ our Lord.

SPECIAL EVENTS DIRECTOR

Lakisha Smith is the Ministry leader of the Special Events Ministry that is responsible for the coordination, planning, promoting, and set-up for special projects within the calendar year. The Events Ministry strives to create fun and entertaining celebrations that foster growth and fellowship among The Voice Church family and the community. The Bible tells us “not forsake the assembly of ourselves together” (Hebrews 10:25). It is important for the Body of Christ to assemble together in informal settings in hopes of developing meaningful relationships that will strengthen unity within God's people and attract all walks of life to experience encounters with Him. When we join our God-given gifts and efforts, together we can lift the name of Jesus through creative platforms to draw souls to Christ.  Our Mission is to be a creative instrument, used by God to transform the ordinary into the extraordinary through excellence!
